Would going down be so bad??

If we are relagted would it be the worse thing.. for me it may be the best thing I think tan would maybe sell up fresh start and for me there is only one man to bring us back. Big Malky

stupid question, we would never come back from it,we would be playing in a stadium half closed and we are signing ppl like pilks on new deals as if we could afford them if we go down it'll be like this season a exodus of anyone we can get a fee for

Seriously - would it be that bad?! Of course it would!

Less income, less fans (for today and the future), players given away because we can't afford them. It would be a disaster.

If and when Tan goes, why do you think the future will be better? The next owner might take us to L2?!

Financially it wouldn't be great however, it doesn't seem to have done Wigan much harm. They've had a player cull and regrouped and are playing some relatively decent football with the new group.. (I'm going off highlights and what people have said regarding. Their performances etc)

Nobody wants to be relegated, but it won't be the end of the world. Some of my favourite seasons have been in divisions 3 or 4. A lot of bigger clubs than us have been in league 1 in recent years. Sheffield United and Pompey are in leagues 1 and 2 still. Bristol Rovers went into the Conference, (or whatever it's called now), and Wrexham are still there. There is always life after relegation.

Same with wolves, promoted through youth and did great, same will probably happen to Bolton. The thing that would kill us is if we went down and spent high wages like Sheffield UTD did and it killed it them financially

For once you and I are in agreement. But alas there are some on here that do hold this view but none willing to come out and say it,hence the multi.

To be honest though at this moment in time I feel we need a dave jones....someone who can buy lower league and frees and then sell them on for big bucks

and who is Tan going to sell to in League one with the debt we have? If we go down it will be a disaster

I'll make a prediction if we go down we are finished and the blue in league two scenario may well come to fruition

Vincent tan will have to bankroll us if we go down and that is not going to happen there's a point in every investment when you call it a day and that might just be the final nail in the coffin for him and us, his own doing a lot of it a big yes but I sincerely hope we stay up this season

Why would Tan leave if we got relegated? He just needs to stop putting money in to te club, which is the end he is working towards anyway..
