" Next season will see us haemorrhage fans "

Last night ,everyone's talk was around when we would be relegated with trollope in charge.

Everyone around me stating whatever happens this season, they would not renew due to the way the club has treated the fan Base over the lies peddled by choo.ie tan.

It was like the 80,s again, supporters laughing at the ineptitude of our display.
Will we score before Xmas.
I have said before we will shortly be in Blackpool position with us seeing a tsunami of supporters walking away and us dropping through the divisions.
These were not the fan Base of the recent premier league, these were long standing supporters for multiple seasons.
The only hope is for the fans to see direction and purpose, the manager given a budget and his authority and his alone for recruitment.
Probably the biggest crossroads the club has ever been in.
Yet choo and dalman standby while the club burns.

I think you are talking sense there.

I was an early 90's turncoat, the lower reaches of the dungeon tempted me back to playing and watching the occasional Tuesday evening game or if the parks were called off.

There is no outrage anymore, just acceptance that this is how its going to be. I can see a lot of fans seeing out the last few seasons of Tans CCFC in the comfort of their homes and not down the CCS.

Sadly, you are correct. It did remind me of the real old days (not the occasional rose-tinted ones we like to recall) and I also noticed the number of fans who had an air of acceptance and resignation as early as the Lambert substitution and certainly once the first Derby County goal went in! :(

A very good OP but I think he misunderstands our current fan base if he thinks many will give it as far as the end of the season. The exit doors were open and the proverbial 'Fire Drill' commenced in all four stands after the penalty!

Very few people supported city during the 80s/90s .come to think of it even the second division days of the 70s .year 2000 resurgence of interest peaking with a couple of seasons of 20000 averages.the population of cardiffs getting bigger .the balls in they're court

Burns from the dictators orders though, what an astute businessman eh??
I'd hazard a guess there are now 1000's of fans who won't step foot back into the cardiff city. Stadium until Tan has sold up.
The longer this sham is played out the less likely many will ever return like the 1000's who have done so in the decades gone by.

i'm not so sure we would fill it and also depending on the team, thousands would be coming to see the opposition instead their local team Cardiff City.

Its all about success, if we were too of the league we would have 20k + .
But bottom of the league less than 10k.
If we drop a division ,take away another 2-3k .
No matter what colour or what style of play , we use SUCCESS brings in fans.
We all know that's the truth ( just look at Wales) .
Unfortunately we have maybe less than eight thousand what I would call hardcore fans, and most of us go for the craic not the football(especially at the moment) most of us are lost in the close season , desperate for the start of the season,so we can catch up with our mates again.
Modern football is not something I enjoy anymore, too much comercialism, having said that,I will be buying my season ticket next year no matter what division. Anything is better than shopping with the wife on a Saturday.

That buzz has probably lessened in recent years with the prem season. It would bring a big crowd but we wouldn't fill the stadium I doubt.

Up until this season I would agree that anything is better than shopping with the wife. After enduring our matches so far this season, Asda seem strangely attractive to me.

I will buy my season ticket in the New Year when they go on sale and that's without knowing our fate. Deserting the club now is something which should be frowned on rather than congratulated.

Well Said Tony,
We've had much worse times than these on the pitch.

I agree, but having spoke to my mate earlier ST for 30 years with his old man and city through and through. Said he's done after this season, I was shocked. Sadly these stories are not rare and it's such a sad state. Course he's watched worse football, but as he put it nobody cares. No atmosphere. Players don't care. Manager don't care owner don't care, not enjoyable for him. Can't disagree. :sad7:

Years ago you still have a good craic with the boys, not that I'm old enough to remeber 30 years ago but certainly used to have a laugh down the city when I was younger in div 2. Now it's souless, that's the difference for many.
