RELEGATION A REAL POSSIBILITY

Wed Sep 28, 2016 5:47 pm

Up until last night I really didn't think we would be anywhere near the bottom six never mind relegated, a mid table finish with a team in transformation would not have been too bad.

However, the a Derby game has really got me thinking that relegation is a distinct possibility.

Firstly, without Lambert and Pilks we offer absolutely nothing in attack our back up strikers are so poor.

Secondly there are no leaders on the pitch who are going to drive us on when the club is struggling

Thirdly, Marshall is gone and he used to earn us 10-15 points each season, the defence seem incapable of keeping a clean sheet

And finally I don't think the Management, players or fans have got the bottle for a relegation scrap, currently for Wales we are the twelfth man not so with City

And does anyone really believe our transfer committee will manage to unearth a few gems in the January window to save us???

If by Xmas things have not improved we are in real trouble

Relegation is a certainty. I've given up whilst Trollope remains in charge. There is no point turning up on Saturday. The same format will happen. Turgid, pathetic football until half time followed by the inevitable 2v0 defeat in the second half. Trollope comes out with his usual crap at the end saying they can dig themselves out of it.
