" A Record Breaking Start To The Season. "

But unfortunately the record we have broken is absolutely not one to be proud of.

Since we joined the Football League in 1920 there have only been two other seasons where we have failed to score in 6 or more of our first 10 League matches. In 1983-84 we failed to score in 7 of the first 10 games and in season 1974-75 it was 6 of the first 10 games.

This season we have failed to score in 6 of our first 10 matches and scored just 2 goals in our first 5 Home games, or to be more accurate Shane Duffy of Blackburn Rovers scored the goals, back in season 1974-75 we also scored just 2 goals in our first 5 Home games, but those were scored by Cardiff City players (Clive Charles in a 1-1 draw with Oxford Utd and Gil Reece in the 2-1 defeat with Hull City). In 1983-84 Cardiff City players scored 7 goals in our first 5 Home matches (Gorden Owen 3, Paul Bodin 2, Nigel Vauhgen and Andy Crawford 1 each).

I hope the Committee that has overseen the transfer activity this summer are proud of their work because, in my opinion, they have left us with a squad that is clearly unfit for purpose. I accept the managers performance must also come under the microscope, and I have no doubt he will soon become the "sacrificial Lamb" for the other idiots who have left us so poorly prepared for the challenge of a Championship season.

God alone knows just how bad a position we will be in by the time the next transfer window opens.

So for the first time since we joined the Football League no Cardiff player has scored in our first 5 home games. Congratulations Messrs Tan, Dalman and Choo

As far as I'm aware, they have never held they're hands up and told the press (directly to the fans) they got an aspect of running the club wrong. Personally, I think it would be smart leadership to try and galvanise the fan base by admitting to a few mistakes (not all though) haha, nobody has the stamina for a 2 week conference :bluescarf:

You make a great point and a bit off honesty regarding the real plans for the on-field future would be most welcome

I am increasingly certain now that this situation really is the consequence of the return to blue and us supporters need to accept that we the fans have got what we wanted and Tan has delivered on his rhetoric

The one good thing is that he is reducing finally the debt...but at what cost to the playing side of the business? ;)

Hi Sven  well I guess he is forced eventually to make CCFC a saleable asset. That's great news for the fans :bluescarf:

The playing side of the business? I can't remember a worse start to a season! As no shopkeepers ever ask my age for beers, if that makes me a young pup as a Cardiff supporter, i'll take it!! :ayatollah:

I agree it's time for a bit of honesty from our owner, chairman and CEO starting with a public statement that whilst they have good business acumen they know little of what it takes to run a successful football club. Sadly there are big ego's in play here and I wouldn't hold my breath on any announcement.

We are in deep do do here, a situation created from a mix of an inexperienced manager, a transfer committee where no one appears to understand what is required to compete in this division and an owner who has lost interest. It's a recipe for disaster and I only hope we don't create more negative records like this.

Sadly there will by no Blue sky while Tan is here,
Only Red mist.

Tan has made himself ultimately responsible for Cardiff city. Decisions

This includes the stadium, the merchandise, the loyalty scheme, the manager, the players, the transfers, the sales, the academy.

He can't point a finger at anyone but himself -

Watch Thomas and Chris, the Tan brigade, will say why should he or they tell us the truth, we are just fans, why should we need to know
