Dave Jones now 2nd favourite with betfair for Fulham

Thu Jul 15, 2010 9:32 pm

Jol is strong favourite, but most bookies now stopped taking bets.

Jones 2nd or 3rd favourite and was as low as 3-1 earlier with some.

Without a doubt. I've been critical of him in the past, but right now we need to keep hold of him.

I know it's the Jacks, but look how much trouble they had looking for a manager

Sean O'Driscoll
Zola
Curbishley

plenty of good replacements out there that would probably do a better job than DJ on 800k

I must have missed the news where we became instantly desirable to the likes of Zola or even O'Driscoll.

Did we pay off all our debts, have the transfer embargo lifted and get given cash to spend? There is no way a new manager of any stature would come in under our current situation.

Which then begs the question, given the opportunity to leave would DJ go, he probably would and this is NOT the right time to be without a manager.

If DJ did go, wouldn't be surprised if he took a few players with him as well.

any1 would take the job at 800k in the championship, its the reason DJ hasnt left, if he was on a normal wage he would have been long gone by now.

The job if advertised won't be 800k though.
