PAUL TROLLOPE: "A SCRAPPY WIN TODAY"

I would take that :ayatollah: :bluebird:

' A Scrappy Win Today '

Paul Trollope: Yeah we would take a scrappy win at Rotherham . It’s about winning, we haven’t got the win we thought we would, we could argue we deserved more. Couple of occasions where we got what we deserved, usually the results follow getting the process right.

There’s still a focus on performance and process but we’re also aware it’s both ends of the pitch, aggression and ruthlessness in the opposition penalty area ,if that not quite happening we have to keep the back door shut.

We’re aware the game is about winning, but things can change very quickly.

Results have dented us, that’s human nature, but there’s still a strong spirit and desire in staff and players that show that we’re strong enough to cope with this, turn it around an bounce back quickly

This sort of talk doesn't inspire me and I'm sure has the same effect on the players. It sounds to me like he's already expecting a below par performance and is clinging on to us nicking a scrappy win.

He is not a leader of men, and in my opinion it's time to go Paul!! We need a proper manager that is tactically astute and can motivate and inspire his players.

Trollope doesn't fill me with confidence either , but I would take a win to build confidence. :bluebird:

If we score a goal we may have a chance of winning but how likely are we to score?

I've put a bet on 1-0 lambert as I so want that to happen today

Even if he is thinking that and let's be honest we would take that, how uninspiring. Basically saying yep we are garbage away to Rotherham but we have a chance of a scruffy win. He's made one Good decision in lex and Okeefe but Harris must start.
