Team for Tomorrow?

Fri Sep 23, 2016 11:28 am

Looks like we have a few doubts and our best player so far wont be included. Things really arent going for us atm! Hopefully a lot of the doubts will be okay but what team would you put out? Im assuming Harris, Gunnar, Pilks wont play and that O'keefe will return.

Amos

Peltier
Morrison
Connolly
Richards

Whitts
O'Keefe
Huws

Noone
Lambert
Immers

Think that team would have enough to surely beat ROTHERHAM!!

I hope okeefe is fit enough to start would be a huge boost but Noone is shite and belongs in League one.

Amos
peltier,morrison,manga,john
........okeefe..gunnarson
harris....................... whitts
.....lambert.....gounogbe

i know fred isnt great but he can help lambert as theres no chance of lambert out running two cb's he needs help even if its just another body to occupy a defender

Think this could work as both strikers are threat in the air and we know Harris will get to the byline and also whitts can deliver

If Pilks out

Amos

peltier Manga Morrison John

O'keefe Whitts

Harris Immers Noone

Lambert

If Pilkington fit replaces Noone. Immers attacking midfield in 4-2-3-1.

Personally I think we need goals and should get chances at Rotherham if playing 2 up top

Totally agree with this, we were no attacking threat last week and Lambert was isolated, needing players closer to him.

Amos

Ralls (I think he will be better than Richards or John at left back)
Connolly
Manga
Peltier

Whittingham
Immers
Gunnarsson
Harris

Lambert
Pilkington

Whittingham can tuck in from the left when necessary and Harris can push on and attack with his frightening pace, so it's a 4-4-2 which can become a 4-3-3 with Harris attacking, but also a 4-5-1 when defending with Pilkington dropping back to help out when necessary.

I would play 4-1-3-2

Manga sitting as a holding midfield player . His ability on the ball and reading of the game is more suited to that role than a straight centre back imo. Similar to gary medel.
I also think it will free up our full backs and midfield without leaving the wide spaces we are seeing now in front of our defence .
Gunnarsson or harris depending on whether we are playing home or away. That is probably our best team.

Immers in just behind lambert

--------------Amos--------------

Peltier--Connolly--Morrison--John

--------------Manga--------------

--Okeef---Whittingham---Gunnarsson

--------Immers-----Lambert------

What no Harris
IMO 4 2 3 1 suits our players better
Amos
Peltier Morrison Connelly Richards
O keefe ralls
Harris immers whitts
Lambert
This would be my preferred team at Rotherham if all fit

I honestly wouldnt play harris from the start . We need to be solid in midfield today and pairing harris and john on the left makes us weak defensively . I would use harris as a impact sub after around 60 minutes and let him run at a tired defence
