From what I have been told Trollope has three games to save his career at Cardiff - I was expecting this to be in Carls update Monday and have been debating should I post or not. It also ties in with another conversation I had at the weekend and the time the first managerial sackings come round and that is the international break. You only have to look at past seasons to see that seems to be the trend.
This does seem to be different from another post but I can only go on what I was told - only time will tell one way or another

Hopefully he will get the breaks in these 3 games and pick up some points and then Trollope can push on.

i think the hope that he is going to be a gd manager has long gone, doesnt seem to understand how to get the best out of the players he has, youd think with him being around last yr that he would know his players strengths and weaknesses but that isnt the case

Annis - It's definitely one statement to the fans and the press and another behind closed doors.

Personally I would have stuck with Slade until all the cost cutting was done with the players. He made us difficult to beat but was not the best football played but still got results. He was very one dimensional and maybe just maybe giving him another season with what he had learnt from the previous season could have seen us make the playoffs.
One thing for sure we would not have been in the position now.
Once all the cost cutting completed look for a young hungry manager that could work within the budget and know he will not have players sold under him at the last minute.
I think everyone with a little bit of top will read between the lines and see it is the dreaded vote of confidence !!

If we don't pick up the 3 points today then sorry but I think that's a bad enough start to season for any manager. Rather than wait till Christmas time and then change it around again.I real hope he can turn it around though we need continuity.

Do not worry - he will be gone.
He was working on the basis of three games to save his job and that was a quote from the man himself
He has lost two out of the three so his position is untenable and he will be fully aware !
