Start of the season I thought 3 centre halves would give licence for the wing backs (whoever was chosen) to fly forward and, not neglect their defensive duties, but concentrate more on providing width further up the pitch.
Whereas the formation may not have suited some players, I thought the likes of Jazz and Declan for example would thrive, but it's almost as if they have been told not to go too far forward, either that or it's, like the rest of the team, a lack of confidence that is flooding the side currently.
You only have to look at the first own goal Duffy gave us against Blackburn, the ball cannons off his foot after the ball rebounds off the post - who took the shot? A marauding Declan John.
So going on the basis Trollope is not likely to change the system any time soon, is it he who tells the wing backs not to go too far forward or is it purely down to confidence?
(personally I am not a fan of wing backs but if that's how the manager sees us playing then who am I to argue?)

agree it's like we are playing 5 at the back all are sitting to deep no hope of attacking
