I think city are as big as any of the clubs on the right . Not much between 11-20 and probably another 5/6 clubs not on the list

Afraid I disagree there. Right now we may be around the likes of Bolton & Blackburn but the rest have always been far bigger than us. Derby have 1 point more than us and are averaging 30,000, Leeds 25000, and we are averaging 14000. We are nowhere near the stature of these clubs, and season to date only 8 clubs in our division are averaging lower attendances than us, and these include the likes of Burton, Rotherham etc.

In the Premiership we had the 13th Highest attendance, with sell outs at most games despite being bottom of the league. If we ever get back we would again have sell outs despite the larger stadium.People will not support an underachieving team but we have the catchment area and are the 6th largest city in the football league?

Derby, Sheff Wed, Aston Villa, Leeds, none are doing well and are underachieving but check out their attendances. Take a look at Newcastle. Almost averaging 50,000 in this division - outstanding.

Are you pissed?
One season in the top flight in 50 odd years and one FA cup to our name and we are a big club?
Also to the poster who thinks we are as big as the likes of Leeds and Wednesday and any of those sides on the right, are you pissed also? Our fans are so deluded.

Apart from Blackburn, Bolton and West Brom we are nowhere near as big as the rest of the list.
I think I would include Leicester on the list and possibly Pompey for great support. Norwich and Brighton deserve mentions too for respectable support but wouldn't quite make my list.

WBA are much bigger than us and Bolton and Blackburn shave it too but we were catching up with them until recently. We should be bigger than Bolton and Blackburn by now but shit owner after shit owner have left us lagging. The fanbse is there to be tapped into.
