A forum for all things Cardiff City

I see there's a young striker banging them in abroad who the City should be looking at signing in January.
32 goals in 49 goals for his current team and probably wouldn't want a big wage.
Not only that, he's three months younger than our current £30,000 a week striker!
His name?
Jay Bothroyd.
Go get him Trollope (or whoever else is manager by the time January comes around)

What standard is the second tier of the Japanese J League where he got those goals?

Haven't we got enough target men?

Probably not much lower than the league where Saadi is banging them in!
I await Rydogs withering reply to that observation!
My point was more that Bothroyd is actually a bit younger than the bloke we are currently paying very well and upon whom we are totally reliant for goals to keep us out of trouble this season.

The Belgian league is better and Saadi is doing what I said all long scoring goals and he will here

when we bring him back stupid loaning him out in the first place.

The Belgium league is a bit like the Scottish premiership, the top few would probably give the top half a dozen in the championship a decent game the bottom would struggle to beat a league 1 outfit though.
I am glad for Saadi, and if he can get his confidence back but more importantly his match fitness I will be a happy bunny.
