WILL WE SACK TROLLOPE THIS WEEK

Sun Sep 18, 2016 7:56 am

I like many others did not want him here, but when given the job, backed him and hoped for the best, VT needs to make this change, there are no signs we are getting better, I think he will be gone by Tuesday! Just my view, even this board must of had enough of this. What a mess!!

I like many others had my concerns with the appointment! After all this guy was sacked by Bristol Rovers. The only other club he has managed. I think many hoped that after being involved in the Wales set up some of it would rub off on our city team! Signing jazz Richards as a replacement for Malone was and is a better option, but why is our defence a shambles this year compared to last??

Trollope needed to hit the floor running IMO to win the fans over but it's far worse than any could have predicted!

I don't think Trollope knows who his best xi is or really what formation to play. He has his ideas but we don't have the personnel to play that way! With Wales you have the wing back in Neil Taylor and then you have Ben Davies a natural left back to slot in and cover. With city for example we had Harris playing wing back not comfortable there and no cover behind him. We need a consistent back four to work together and a central pair to form a partnership! Manga is better suited in a back 4, he doesn't like getting pulled out into a right back position.

The one concern for myself was the attitude of some of the team yesterday, heads were down and they just seemed to give up and roll over! Didn't seem like they were playing for the manager!!

I can't see us improving! Especially looking at the likes of Preston beating us 3-0 then losing. 5-0! To concede ourselves 5 goals without reply against Leeds and Pne shows how far adrift we are.

I don't see the point in waiting for 12 or 15 games or even Xmas! I fear we would only be further a drift!

PT has been given the chance, he's spent a bit of cash, but he just doesn't have the expertise or experience at this level!

We need to go back to basics, play people in the right positions and stop conceding at the back first then build from there! We have some good players! We just need to get the best from them and I don't believe Trollope is the answer!

He should not have been appointed in the first place, and that's my concern, the guilty 3 would only replace him with another deadbeat manager

Hopefully he will be gone, but can we trust the board to appoint a suitable replacement like Warnock ???

I doubt it when he goes it will probably be another unproven Manager !!!

def shouldnt have got the job, the club was looking the cheapest option available hence mowbray was mentioned and made first team coach, we are just a shit team with shit coaches manger and most importantly shit owner and ceo who will only ever appoint yes men who will never take us forward,id like to see us sell to a firm from the uk if we cant get a local business man who has an interest in the club.if we are going to go foreign again then please someone like leicester owners would be ideal. we are all calling for change but i think its the wrong person we want out we should be putting efforts into getting tan out, and for those saying he keeps us a float they are prob the same ones who was in the ground in red shirts not to long ago. dont be so nieve that there isnt someone out there who would take us on, we can be a great earner to the right owner all they have to do is show a bit of ambition and the crowds would start to come back

I cannot see PT being sacked for a while. Unfortunately the club seem to be appointing the cheapest managers regardless of ability, experience, etc. They will not pay out to bring in one of many quality proven experienced managers out there. The club refuse to pay the money so what are the fans getting? It would be nice to see Trollope do well but like others before him chopping and changing formation & players week in week out doesn't help.

It's a shame because even with our current players I could see one of the above described managers taking us towards the top of the league. (Warnock, Adkins, Mowbray, Holloway, Jackett & the many others out there)
