Thu Jul 15, 2010 1:08 pm

Emile Heskey has announced his retirement from International Football.

Strange, I thought he gave up playing for England years ago..

(Should never have gone to the World Cup IMO)

If they could have changed the old Paraguayan keeper's (Chilavert) nationality, then they should have taken him over Heskey. He scored more goals as a keeper than Heskey did as a striker!!!

Goal scoring, Heskey is shit.

Target man, bringing others into the game? VERY underrated in that regard.

To be honest, and I aint taking the piss - I'd have him at Cardiff - as Jay's 2nd half substitute..... Would work well in my opinion with our small fast strikers eg, chopra, McCormack

Him retiring from International football is the begining of him recognising his football career is slowly coming to an end, can see him at a championship club sooner rather than later......

just a thought ?
