Leeds United boss Garry Monk claims Leeds travelling fans 'took control of the stadium' during win over Cardiff City

And (quote Monk)
"Cardiff City means nothing to me!"
Didn't think they took over the stadium but I will give them credit for the noise/atmosphere they helped produce. One of the best at the CCS this season for long periods

They were loud when they sang in bits through game yes, but like most fans were quiet for a few periods. Definately didn't take over the stadium!

Your right I thought it didn't mean anything to him, by taking control of the stadium he must be referring to some classy women taking her shirt off

All they did was fill the away end. Great support from them.

I have sat with my lad in the FS since moving to CCS and now he's a bit older he wants to move as its dire. It was good for the seasons we were sat right next to the away as there was a bit of banter and never an issue. Last season and for the apparent reason of low ticket sales, we were moved to 124 as 123 was going to be closed off. That immediately killed any atmosphere we had in that stand as there's a massive gap between us.
Yes, Leeds were loud yesterday but we all know that if the stadium was layed out correctly, we would drown any away out. Wayne Nash and co can waffle on about potential flare ups and lower policing/stewarding costs but thats was killed generating and atmosphere at CCS. Other clubs have no problem with having our singers comparitivily close to the away and it works just fine. The club won't move on it I know but there's your answer.
My lad prefers aways purely for one of the essential parts of football - atmosphere. With the ground only being 30% full for the foreseeable future, it's even more difficult as fans are spread out. Of course you can generate a great atmosphere at the CCS but its usually when we are playing for something or playing well but we are not going to do that anytime soon either. I'll always be there but the CCS is currently a chore in many ways, yes it's down to us fans but the current layout and climate makes it very difficult. Full marks to Vince though, if it wasn't for the drums it would be even worse.
