Parachute payments are £8m this year I think , and Tan is putting in £1m a month , so he is still funding us by £4-5m a year.
Next year no more parachute payments.

So if it wasn't for Vincent Tan ,we would be finished.
The rebrand was 4 years ago , he made a mistake its been reversed . Instead of being bitter toward Tan and blaming him for all our woes, perhaps we should be asking where the 15k fans that were with us in the Premier, where are they now. If they were still coming we would be well inside FFP and able to compete.

If you think a man living 10 thousand miles away should care and invest , while people living 10 miles away don't.
Its all excuses from people.

1 if we were blue I'll be there.

2 if we get rid of Slade I'll be there.

All been done, but less in the ground now than for a long time.

Throughout Vincent Tan`s reign as owner of the club , I have been consistently critical of his actions such as the rebrand and his refusal to appoint anyone (that he will take notice of) with football knowledge on the club `s main board of directors. Both have cause severe damage to the club that will take several years at least to repair.

However , when he does things right like the reversal of the rebrand or the eventual waiving of the debt due to him , then credit should be given. And to accuse him of doing things like "asset stripping" or taking money out of the club is just nonsense , unfounded and unfair. Yet some posters still persist with the claim even when they are shown , several times and by several different people, that their claim is entirely wrong.

With all sources of income added together, the club still makes a loss. In the 2015/16 accounts a small book profit was shown only because of a debt write off by Vincent Tan.

2014/15

Feb 2015 I believe, and the next set are due to be made available Feb 2017. I don't know what is happening behind the scenes, and until the next set of accounts are published neither does anyone else. We can only go by what we are told, but we will have to wait a few months before some of the questions on here can be answered.
