I thought we were the better side today and it could have easily been us winning 2-0 today if we hadnt hit the woodwork twice and they went in and a moment of madness and unproffesianlism by connolly trying to put a leeds player in a headlock in the box and a wonder strike by hernandez. We could have scored much more today if it werent for some great defending from leeds credit to them for that. We controlled the majority of the game and on another day it could have been us with the 3 points but for me it was just one of them days and we didnt have luck on our side today.
For me the change to 433 was a massive positive and i can see us finally moving forward now and getting better each game with this new system..
Anyone else share my optimism after today?

The only thing is it's not just todays performance and result. Every week is full of what if's, and if that or this had happened. The table does'nt lie. We are rock bottom after 8 games, one win thanks to a couple of own goals, and still have'nt played many of the fancied sides. There are far more difficult games ahead, and we have'nt done too well in the games we've played so far.

Leeds werent the best i agree but like i said a wonder strike and a penalty that we shouldnt have conceded was the difference today. We hit the woodwork twice and leeds defended excellently today their centre back was outstanding janssen or something like that on another day we could have beat that poor leeds team like you say no problem just didnt happen for us today.
Can you honestly say that poor leeds team dominated us and deserved 3 points today? I cant.

Yes the formation was better however the big question is how many saves did the Leeds keeper have to make? He could have brought his bed and had a sleep. No players in the box & it's easy to pass sideways or backwards!

We should've been clear by half time 2 or 3 goals would not have flattered us. On another day with a little rub of the green. Red card for them, not hitting the post defenders not on top of their game and a little more luck we'd have won that easily.
The pen decision, for me, is what changed the game. Yes it was a pen, consistent no way! Now I know I only watched on telly, but Holloway and the studio even highlighted the holding going on at our corners... how did we not get a penalty? Warned everyone apparently? They get one at their first corner, to me, very poor.
On to the positives, the 4-3-3. definitely was working, from a possession and an attacking point. It was exploiting space out wide, overlaps were there, final pass and the killer instinct is what was missing. Pilks, Noone and Lambert front 3. Not bad, i'd have swapped Noone for Harris in his natural position, however Noone was ok. A little more urgency and support for Lambert and we'll come good. Considering a lot of teams line up the same formation as Leeds, very positive news. Goals will come, these boys were playing their first game together.
Amos, brilliant game. A couple of really good saves, not at fault for either goal. Impressed.
Still have Bennett to come in, didn't think Jazz or Pelts had a bad game, but I think Bennett will improve here.
I'd also have Huws or Immers in the midfield, someone to rush into the box. We have a sideways passser in Whitts (who did very well switiching play and finding space today i thought) Ralls can be dropped.
We weren't out played by Leeds by a long stretch, unlucky yes. As the saying goes these things balance themselves out over a season, if they do, from what I've seen so far, we've had a lot of bad luck, the good should come! (I hope)
It will happen! Keep the faith, this squad is too good to be bottom!!
Team next game:
Amos
Pelts Connolly Morrisson Richards
Gunnars Immers Whitts
Harris Lambert Pilks
