What exactly is Lennie contributing at the moment?
If Trollope isn't listening to him, what's the point of him being there?
If Trollope is listening to him, and the performances are partly down to him, what's the point of him being there?
More money being wasted by the club which could be used to employ a proper manager.

That explains a lot - Lennie was having a doze in his deckchair most of the game with a knotted handkerchief on his head. The ground was so empty I could hear Lennie snoring.

Well that says it all if Trollope is taking advice from the numb nuts that decided Gareth Bale wasn't good enough and sent him packing to Southampton all those years ago. It's like Dumb and Dumber
