Load up the gun Tan

Just not good enough. Too ponderous and disjointed.

First half of the season is wasted under this utterly beige and bland manager. Makes Russell Slade look like Pep Guardiola!

And as I say this, our player of the season comes on for our flop of the season, Ralls. Only 70 mins too late

Bye bye Trollope

Worse than OGS

Re: Load up the gun Tan

This is disastrous for Trollope.

Re: Load up the gun Tan

There is no way back for Trollope. Perhaps a bit unlucky today but he is abject as a manager. Sacked immediately after the game I hope.

Who gives a f**k if it's disastorous for Trollope, don't try and paint it out as if this is all bad luck. But I suppose you want him to have 46 games of the same bullshit so you can then say it's still not his fault. The guy's the same as OGS, a complete dreamer who buys into his own "philosophy's" and tries to re-invent the wheel in the process. Poor Kadeem Harris is being played all over the place no wonder he's dropping in form.

But no it's all our fault, the people who didn't want OGS Slade or Trollope in the first place.

It's disastrous and I can't help but think that there is no way back for Trollope after today and the club might go into panic mode and if they don't then Trollope is lucky if I'm honest.

He has to go now. He was the wrong appointment in the first place and had no credentials to get the job. In his whole time here as coach, did a single player show any improvement? The players don't look like they have a clue what their roles are.

Tactically it is appalling - again Noone is played on the right and it was clear Leeds were lapping it up. Then Harris comes on, so we end up with a left footer on the right and a right footer on the left and made it easy for Leeds to just squeeze the space. At least Harris showed desire an quality to run at players so Trollope then moves him to right back!

We are going down unless the board do what they should have done two years ago and appoint someone QUALIFIED to be a football manager at this level.

Re: Load up the gun Tan

He played the formation and the team (apart from Ralls) that most of you have been calling for . It will sink in soon that despite what a lot of forum users think, we do not have a strong squad, and a lot of us predicted an average/poor season based on the players more than the manager.
Trollope is not the man to manage this club, never has been, but the problem goes far deeper than him. So many got excited because we had a new manager, a new formation, and a new striker who had a good year or two when he was younger. Unfortunately, all those fans forgot to check out the main part of the club - the players. No pace, no threat to the opposition goal, and the current squad would struggle to get promotion from League 1, never mind the Championship.
I expect the usual few still can't see that there are problems, and are still convinced we will be in the play offs at the very least. In reality, we were never in with a sniff of the play offs before a ball was kicked this season.

How on earth could you call it a panic? Your using thinly veiled attempts to save face. Doesn't work.

That was last weak.

Although in all seriousness we are entitled to change our opinions, I've been desperate for Trollope to succeed as we all have and I think after 8 games I'm very concerned. But I don't see any alternative with the joke of a board we have

Panic? We've lost 4 on a bounce scored 2 and conceded 9, last two games conceded 5 against 2 mediocre sides that other teams have despatched of easily. We are bang in trouble.

When did I say we should keep Trollope? I'm saying sacking Trollope will cost money, as in paying him compensation money so I can't see tan wanting to do that, Trollope is a yes man and Costs us peanuts so I think he will be staying put! Back on topic, you were referring that we'll keep Trollope because he's cheap, I say that if we keep him as you are suggesting will happen then it's one way we're going, and that's down. That'll cost a hell of a lot more money than paying Trollope up. Simple really.

There are times when a club can generate more income being at the top of a league than being bottom of the next league up. Perhaps Tan has a cunning plan. Problem is, I doubt if our current team would pose much of a threat in Div 1 either.
