My team and formation tomorrow

Have to play 4-4-2; well anything other than 5-3-2

5-3-2 has failed. Trollop has to accept it and move on.

Good old fashioned football is what we need.

An experienced keeper.

2 decent defensive full backs, one whom can attack.

2 strong central defenders, one a ball winner and the other a distributor.

A ball player and ball winner in central midfield

Quick inside left and right, who can both take it to the bye line and cross.

A target man and an inside forward who can play off the no 9.

So who fits this team?

GK - no option. Amos.

FB's - Peltier and Richards.

CB's - Connelly and Morrison/Manga - take your pick.

CM - Whittingham and Ralls (not ideal but what choice is there - Gunnarrsson & Whitt'm cannot play together. Immers has gone backwards and I don't know what to make of Huws)

Wingers - Noone and Harris

No 9 - Lambert

Inside forward - has to be Pilkington as even out of his best position (not quick enough to be a genuine winger) the options are just terrible.

Isn't it just a pity that it will be Trollope and not you selecting the team tomorrow,I think we both know what our wonderful manager will do regarding selection
