UPDATED Press Conference- 5.3.2 Paul Trollope

In this mornings press conference it is reported that when asked about the 5-3-2 formation Paul Trollope replied "In the majority of games its functioned very well".

Am I missing something or am I right in believing that our performances have been below par and we have only 1 win in 8 games. If you are under pressure I suppose it's natural to defend your decisions however isn't it time that there was a bit of reality?

We’re always looking at the system. A lot has been said about how it works, its benefits and shortfalls but in the majority of games it’s functioned very well, however we’ve not got the desired results.
We know there’s need to be adaptable and flexible. And I’ve said all along you need a way to win and if it needs a change of shape we will and I’m not afraid to do it, but if I think it’s right way to go forward I’ll stick with it and persevere

I fully agree. The response from PT was poor and simply doesn't fit the evidence.

exactly this! how can someone seem so clueless about whats going on around him,every dick and his dog can see wilson isnt good enough and that whitts needs to be playing, and as for the formation dont get me started
