Rangers midfielder Joey Barton has been sent home after a training ground incident on Tuesday, according to reports.

SSNHQ has contacted Rangers for confirmation but the Scottish Premiership club have been unavailable for comment.

Newspaper reports on Thursday stated that the 34-year-old was told to go home after a row with team-mates and coaching staff following Saturday's 5-1 thrashing at Celtic.

Your welcome to him, he came to Scotland thinking he'd stroll through games like Franc Baresi, Scottish Football maybe shite but its kick and run shite played at high tempo, Barton has been caught in possession numerous times, possibly because his fitness is not what it should be. i suspect he is not good for dressing room harmony but in truth don't know for sure, rumours fly around but what's fact and what's fiction? Anyhoo bottom line if the City want him I don't think many Rangers Fans will be too upset to see him go.
