There were others interviewed weren't there?

I suppose we'll never know but either they were worse than Trollope or were better than him but unwilling to work under the conditions imposed by the owner.

I would imagine that some who were interviewed may have turned down the job anyway after finding out how they would have been expected to manage the club with their hands tied financially and having to jump when Tan told them to.

This is the reason we have Trollope so don't know why everyone's moaning we don't have money to get a reconised manager in.

If we sack him we pay him off get an other manage in who won't have nothing to spend and on a low wage , 2 months later get rid of him pay him off ...
All of a sudden we've lost thousands , our fans can be clueless at times

No one has any right saying Cardiff should be near play offs so sacked him etc were an average mid table at best championship team and that's what we will finish so if anyone thinks get a new manager and we will come top half your taking something because we ain't got the money for a manager like that

I'm not sure I agree when you say that we don't have the money to get a recognised manager in. We do have the money for that and it's a false economy in some ways to employ a "cheap" manager if they're not any good.

The problem is that there is no money for that manager to spend. Now, Warnock proved at Rotherham last season in similar circumstances to where we are now that even having little or no money available need not be a hindrance if that manager is able to galvanize a team in the way Warnock did there last season.

The other problem is that few recognised, experienced managers of the type that we really need would be willing to work under the financial and other constraints which would be imposed on them. Few successful managers are little more than yes men and that is the only type of manager our club is employing currently.

These so called great managers , what would they be like with no money ?
Pep,Jose,Klopp how would they cope with us. Without money and the constraints put on Trollope.
Never mind I'm hoping that something changes soon, because I've seen it so many times before, all of a sudden your stuck in the bottom 3 and slowly drift away .
That's why Saturdays game followed by the next two are so very important, they could define our season, because if we lose all three which is not impossible.
We are going to be relegated .
No matter who the manager is.

I'm not pressing for a new manager yet. However if things don't improve then we need to be looking at someone who can make an impact with the current squad because even if we are able to spend we'll have to wait until January with no loans.

It may well have to be a short-term appointment along the lines of Warnock, etc.

Pullis could provide both an interim and long-term solution but that simply isn't going to happen with the money we have available.

Why do you think Trollope was allowed to bring Lennie in?

Ready made replacement for if they need to sack Trollope.

God, I hope not. LL is yesterdays man. A safe, interim pair of hands maybe, but long term we would be going backwards,,,faster than we already are!

If we had the money to pay for Ricky Lambert £35k a week for two years then we had the money to get a half decent manager

What a load of shit.

Pep, Jose and Klopp weren't just given top jobs, they rose to the top through hard work and being a good manager. If any of those three came here and they were given this season and next then I promise you we would be at the right end of the table. With no money a top manager will put the emphasis on recruiting young hungry players and play the correct playing style to suit. Look at Eddie Howe, that team has no business in the Premiership. We've hired the wrong guy, a man who has no idea about the transfer market and how to get a good deal like our last three managers and that's why we are fucked.

Also it's September, not March. I wouldn't even be worried if we were bottom three at Christmas, still plenty of time to get ourselves out.
