Really is critical.
I certainly don't subscribe to the theory of getting rid of managers due to some bad results and a very bad start.
We all knew this would be a season of transition so a knee jerk reaction is not appropriate. Trollope made it clear that he would be changing the way we prepare, play and personnel.
I think most of us were (are?) willing to support him through this period.
However..... I am not really seeing much difference in the way we play, too many long balls, pacey players playing out of position (or dropped), almost no flair in the team and results are appalling.
So I can't really see where we are going in terms of playing style or formations. Trollope is sticking with his 532 'kind of' formation and it just isn't working.
Poor Kadeem Harris, a genuine flair and pacey player, has been ignored for so long and when he finally gets his chance he gets played as a wing-back! What an appalling decision.
Isn't the 'art' of stupidity doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results?
I don't get this blaming defenders for mistakes and conceding goals, certainly not publically. These same defenders in a different system last year were much better.... So Trollope MUST man up and admit that the system has caused confusion and provided a platform for a worse defense than last year.. a defense that has three centre halves is much less effective than last years two centre halves (and they are the same players!).
So it is a tense time. The manager needs to convince the fans that he knows what he is doing and that our playing style and results are going to get better. Each loss and bad performance brings with it more pressure on the manager and less faith in what he is 'trying' to do.
If we can see some light at the end of the tunnel we can all get around him and move forward together, but at this point I can't see much light in terms of performances so it is looking pretty miserable.
Come on Trollope... time to really step up... our players are much much better than what you are getting out of them. Time to stand up and be counted.

Good post, but i don't think Trollope is capable of "stepping up",,,he's hopelessly out of his depth ( I think a lot of us thought this to begin with),,,,& I get the distinct impression he's lost the dressing room respect too.
I can see only one outcome from all this,,,& its going to be painful for everyone concerned.

we've been in transition for 2 years, time to stop listening to 'mr angry Dalman' - supporters are leaving in droves and s/t holders just can't be bothered turning up - and who could blame them, they've paid their money up front.
Believe it or not, there are better things to do on a saturday afternoon even if you have shelled out on a s/t - watching gillette soccer saturday with a bar at hand is one!
Someone in the club needs to address the issue - quickly!
