" Just got home from Preston " My Take on it

Wed Sep 14, 2016 12:15 am

11 hours travelling and watching Cardiff play tonight

Spent £70 on travel ,ticket food and beer

I have been very optimistic/ supportive of what's going at our club ,on the basis of what I had seen upto tonight ,I strongly believed we could have got something out of every league game so far this season ,I've not witnessed us getting a hammering again upto tonight .

However tonight's performance was not good in any way what so ever
In fact it was inept .
IMO Trollope does not know his best eleven ,especially after the changes made tonight .
I'm not prepared to single individuals to blame ,but all but Harris and pilks ,need to question Thier application ,desire, and performance tonight .

We fans who turned up were some what cheated by the players due to the manner we got beat ,I don't usually like the word clueless but I think it sums us up rather well tonight.

On another thread some one disrespectfully said I was in lalalala land
Well if lalalala land is in Birmingham and Fulham and Norwich and Preston ,and was in Forrest green ,Cheltenham,Havant and waterlooville and Exeter .then yes I have been in lalalala land ,supporting my club ,will I be at the next game ,yes I will ,am I still optimistic that we can improve ,yes I am ,am I delusional no I'm not ,I'm a Cardiff city fan ,I can be honest with my hopes ,but I can be honest when I see poor play/ decisions ,do I have the answers or am I able to change things no I do not ,however I can still believe/ hope those in a position to make a difference will

Good honest post steve. I don't think anyone is questioning your commitment of being a fan as you make all the games which many can't. This board get taken to seriously some times I find but I've've learned to take it with a pinch of salt as it's just words on a screen.

Alot of people wanted slade out because he wasn't a higher profile manger on paper. Let's be honest I doubt trollope has much say at the club anyway, that's just my opinion on his hands being tied under the current transfer committee and the lunatic tan at the helm. Personally I wouldn't have picked him to take over but who else would work under tan knowing your hands are tied. That's how we got trollope to start with.

He was slades number two for a reason last season yet it's not as if he has not seen the core of the squad play before he took charge but tonight there isn no excuses like trollope has come out and said.

Have I disrespected you by saying you were in La La Land? Poor little lamb.

I can tell you've never played football in your life as playing for a club is all about piss taking and banter. I've been involved in that all my life so perhaps that's how I am. If you feel disrespected for a throwaway remark like that then I feel sorry for you.
The reason I have had a go recently - the same as others have - is your hypocrisy in telling others not to be negative etc. when you are just as bad at times. Constantly having a go at Whitts for example, calling the club shit, texting people on here moaning. That's fine, we all do it and it's natural but don't pretend you never do. It's all about opinions and it's not up to you to tell people not to moan when they want to.

On the subject of your support, I have respect for the passion you show and away games you travel to even though you constantly have to tell people.

Get some sleep and bring on Leeds!

If you think it's a negative post that's your oppinion
I think it's just an honest post of our current situation
But guess what it hasn't gone back to the rebrand ,or over old ground
Which was what my whole arguement was supposed to be about
But thanks for your reply

What did you make of Huws last night?

in all honesty he was non existant , he looked lost , offered absolutely nothing, never looked for the ball , cant remember him making a tackle or pass of any significance during his 45 minute start .was nailed on to be replaced by whitts at half time ,
