Preston v Cardiff City

Cardiff have no long-term worries but whether some of their players will be fit to start remains to be seen. Stuart O'Keefe is back in training as he recovers from a broken arm sustained against Bristol Rovers in the EFL Cup, but was not fit enough to be in the squad for the Norwich game. Emyr Huws could get hid first start but Joe Bennett is an injury doubt with a calf injury. Striker Jermaine Beckford is a long-term injury for the hosts.

Cardiff possible XI : Wilson, Richards, Peltier, Morrison, Connolly, John, Whittingham, Gunnarsson, Immers, Pilkington, Lambert

Preston possible XI : Lindegaard, Vermijl, Cunningham, Clarke, Spurr, Baptiste, Gallagher, McGeady, Welsh, Doyle, Robinson
