Picnic rug

During the last home game I ended up in a heated debate with a steward. At half time with no seating at all available in the concourse, I surprised my partner with a picnic. Laid out the rug and set up x2 plates and wine glasses (plastic) no we're not plastics! And laid out some simple food to consume quickly at half time. Pork pie, sandwich and crisps. The steward told us to get off the floor. why ? Surely if we want to enjoy a half time picnic we should be allowed - especially with limited seating in the refreshment areas. Would you have got up from your picnic ?

Dai Hunt had a similar problem last season when stewards confiscated his barbecue.

I heard about this new craze. Pop up picnics have gone viral on the interweb, all the kids are doing them these days.
