Let's have a special section to knock the club

Mon Sep 12, 2016 8:31 am

Any chance of a separate section on here just for the negative and moaning and criticising threads
Then I could just read threads with news and gossip and football related threads that discuss what's going on mainly on the pitch
Rather than reading the same old same old
Why do negative threads just revert back to tan or the rebrand
Or the knocking of OUR-players or the bigging up of players gone
What is the point of calling one of our players shit or saying if so and so was still here that result wouldn't of happened
I'm totally aghast to be honest
How the hell will we attract more fans if they come on here and read what some fans(alledgedly) are continually putting up on here
I'm not saying everything is great but it's certainly not as bad as some would have us believe

That's a good idea - hate negativity on here but I guess we've only got the club to blame for that? That said, we could be top of the premier league and someone would still find something to moan about!

I think you've got to realize that without hits on here this place won't exist. Thats why anything is written and its up to you to sift through whats dross and what isn't.The real trouble is half the people on here actually believe exactly what is written without putting their brain in gear.

Fantastic season so far, good results, great to see the fans pouring back after some poor attendances, roll on next season with Premier League football virtually guaranteed again. :bluescarf:

Surely a forum is about opinions as much as it is about fact. We all see football differently, which is what makes the subject so interesting. Why should'nt fans say a player is crap. It's not something I ever remember saying myself until now, but I can immediately think of two who spring to mind. Le Fondre & Macheda, not because they are crap players but because in my eyes their attitude towards the club and the fans who help pay their over inflated wages is crap. I have no problems with players who have limited ability but who give 100% every time they play, but I also have no problems with fans who have criticise our players who obviously could'nt care less about anything other than their monthly salary. There are good and not so good things about our club right now, and I think it's only right that everything is discussed, not just the good things.
I was slated by a few on here for daring to say we would only take 6 points from our opening 5 games. Apparently I was a miserable git and a pessimist. Remind me again on how many points we took from those games. It turns out I was optimistic, but it annoyed a few people when I refused to put on my blue tinted spectacles to protect my eyes as I buried my head deeper and deeper into the sand.

I don't have a problem with fans genuinely putting their disappointments on the message board and accept it would be silly not to allow that.

But where I agree fully is this constant reference back to the rebrand and Tan's decision. The matter is closed and those who were in the Blue corner won by a mile and got what they wanted.

However, they can't be satisfied with that they have to run a constant hate campaign against VT. I have a personal principle that I will NEVER have anything to do with such abhorrent behaviour. Got a problem with someone then go and speak with them face to face.

What you don't do is incite others to hate that individual as well, especially if that individual has put his hands up and admitted his/hers mistake.

Cardiff City Football Club does-not benefit in any way from hating it's owner. Individuals might get some kind of perverted kick out of it, but the football club (the only thing I care about) doesn't.

FFS stop this petty childish behaviour and begin to get behind the team rather than wasting bitter hatred on past events.

Just realise that this gripe may have come across as a dig at Sven. It's not aimed at anyone in particular, and certainly not Sven who I always find posts very sensibly and takes a balanced point of view on subjects.

From what I remember the problem was backing your side to lose before a ball is kicked. It really doesn't matter what your justification is I will never accept it is right not to expect a City win pre match no matter what the circumstances are.

OK be 'realistic' etc. afterwards but before the game there is only one outcome we all want and the colour of glasses has nothing to do with it.

It's nothing to do with backing my side to lose. The thread is about predicting a score, and that is exactly what I do. I predict what I think the most likely outcome to be, not what I want it to be. I could predict us to win every game of the season, but we all know that won't happen. I predict that we will take 4 points from our next 2 games. I am not being overly optimistic or pessimistic there, it just happens to be what I think is the most likely outcome. If we were playing Barcelona next weekend, I would put us down for at least a 4 goal defeat. Not because I want it, because I think that would be a fair prediction.

At the end of the day we are all proud Cardiff City supporters and want to see the club do well however it is a business and if a business is not performing then sometimes it deserves criticism. Likewise when we are doing well it deserves praise. Unfortunately more recently we have not been performing well and some do not want to accept that by having a blinkered view. Everything is not rosy.

Previous posts have highlighted that not all fans see the same things and this is a forum where all matters relating to CCFC can be discussed in an orderly adult fashion. At the start of the season a poll on here had approx 25% of fans expecting us to go up automatically and about another 30% to get into the play offs. Are those expectations realistic? I would say no and probably you can put that down to wanting to see your team do well.

As the quoted above post comments upon, everything is not rosy. I am sure that when there are signs of improvement then I am sure that there will be more positively and less negativity. Saying that everyone has an opinion on whether that business is doing well or not and if it doesn't fit into your ideology then they should not be knocked.

Forget Cardiff City for a minute, football is all about different views and debating. Things are not the best at the moment so all City fans talk about it. A few fans positive to the point of this guy where he can't see anything, some negative to the point of moaning for the sake of it and the most who are simply realistic of things at the moment.

Perhaps we should have a separate section for truebloo, wez and Rydogs where they can chat to each other all day about winning the league and living in La La land.

" CCFC Loyalty scheme my a.se . "

Cardiff City

What a con the new system of club shop discount for season ticket holders is

Just bought £109 worth of gear in the shop
Last season I would have had 10% off = £10.90
So would have paid £98.10

This season I have to pay the full £109
And they put the 10% on my season ticket which doubles up as a loyalty card

Now to get my £10 .90 I have to spend it in the shop

IMO this is no advantage in fact it's a worse deal than last season

I spent over £1000 last season in the shop and it only cost me £900

Once again us fans are not being treated very well
In my case I was also told I'm not a full paying adult as a oap so I could not have a £49 season ticket for my grandson

Well done Cardiff city
You have just pissed off a very loyal supporter for a second time

Our away kit (idiots)
Postby troobloo3339 » Sat Aug 06, 2016 8:36 pm

Our away kit is red again
Has no one down the club got the brains and balls to explain to tan that we fans hate the red
And he will not sell many red away shirts
If income is so important to our club
If he changed the away kit for any other colour he would sell more away shirts

So there mr tan you've been told

Your thread title says "knock the club", not the players or Tan. You were having a dig at the club not long ago when you were talking about taking fans as mugs. There are things wrong with the club, as pointed out by you in the past. Everyone has an opinion, and I don't think anyone had a go at you just because you decided to knock the club.

is it not a geniune point that actualy effects all fans in real money terms
the rebrand as an example never cost me financialy but it did cost the club as inever bought anytjing red for myself

Cardiff City

What a con the new system of club shop discount for season ticket holders is

Once again us fans are not being treated very well
In my case I was also told I'm not a full paying adult as a oap so I could not have a £49 season ticket for my grandson

Well done Cardiff city
You have just pissed off a very loyal supporter for a second time

Has no one down the club got the brains and balls to explain to tan that we fans hate the red
