Looking great that! Makes you wonder what NP could have been like if that had been redevolped. The old Bob Bank would have awesome if it has been all seated and two tiered. :ayatollah:

Some seats (as pictured) will be sold for £9 each because of restricted views....

Didn't Sam Hammam say that there was a contingency plan for NP to be re developed in the event of the planning permission not being granted for the CCS?

I'm guessing that if that event ever happened, the cost for an existing re development might have been more, than that for a new, relocated build???

Yes there was.

The reason we had the new stadium was that no one had the money to redevelop Ninian Park, but with the new stadium it was funded by the shopping development etc

From what I remember there were also access issues given the location of Ninian with Sloper Road one side and the railway at the back, even ignoring the residential housing each end.

The bigger the stadium the wider the outside walkways, concourses need to be, etc. without even touching upon car parking.

The cost of re-directing Sloper Rd or the railway would have been even more than the Riddlers fish tank !!

Am I the only one who thinks Anfield looks a bit of a hotch potch. Think the new Spurs ground will look much better (yes I know, costs a lot more).

Yes around 20 houses needed to be bulldozed sloper Rd needed to be re routed and also needed to buy land off network rail to expand bob bank!!! So totally unworkable and to costly ? :old:

Spurs are building a new stadium. Liverpool had to work around what they already had, so hardly surprising a new design has the chance to look better.

Horrible club. Horrible fans. Always the victims. Would love to see them relegated.
