Agree. Also, I would be surprised if Mr Dalman had come out and said "by the way, Tan is assett stripping the club, but only a little bit". Usual spin that we hear every so often, and as someone said above, to have a dig about the Turkish manager rumours is a bit rich when they appointed someone else who was probably ten times worse. Have to be pretty gullible to believe everything that comes from this club.

Did get 120m but guess we paid players nothing and spent nothing buying them so club pocketed the 120m???? And isn't he still supporting club financially every month? Dalman may be wrong in using 200m as a figure but as is public knowledge in 5yrs this club will be debt free so someone somewhere is paying the debt we have. (Father Xmas maybe?)

No one said club never paid players ECT![]()
what I am saying is if Tzn is owed £200mill and we received £120mill plus then Tan has gone through a staggering £320 mill plus

he's put in 200 million overall your looking in to what he's said too muchSteve Zodiak wrote:According to the statement on here from the trust, Tan is converting £68m debt to equity immediately, with the remaining £40m being converted over the next five years. Mr Dalman mentions £200m now owed to Tan. Sums don't seem to add up to me unless I am overlooking something. Probably me mis-reading the situation. I am sure someone will put me right soon.

It cannot benefit the club except in the short-term, to make it more attractive to potential buyers. Of course Tan doesn't want to sell yet, but after the last parachute it will be another matter.

He's not owed 200m what Dalman means is Tan has put approx 200m into the club and if he was asset stripping to get his money back(which some fans are claiming) then he would need to be asset stripping 200m to get what he put in back which what Dalman is saying that it's not going to happen as there isn't 200m of assets. Dalman is merely pointing out Tan isn't asset stripping
