FOREST SIGN EX PREM STRIKER ON A FREE TRANSFER

Nottingham Forest’s chairman Fawaz Al-Hasawi has announced that they have completed the signing of striker Nicklas Bendtner on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old puts pen to paper on a two-year deal as he returns to England.
Bendtner started his career at Arsenal, breaking into the first team in 2005 after impressing in the reserve team.

He spent nine years with the Gunners and had loan spells with Birmingham, Sunderland and Juventus during that period.
The Denmark international struggled to impress during his time at Arsenal and was often the brunt of jokes on social media.
He made over 100 Premier League appearances for the London-based giants before finally leaving in the summer of 2014 when his contract expired.
He then joined German Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg and failed to make in impact during a two-year spell at the club though – he was released a few months before his contract was due to expire.
He has been a free agent since April but has finally landed a deal with Championship side Nottingham Forest, who will be hoping that he can score goals for them in the English second tier.

the epitome of the modern footballer is Nicklas Bendtner. overpaid, under skilled, arrogant, need I go on.. really cant stand this bloke and glad he has finally been found out for what he is. he will fail massively at forest and end up in the MLS with Bradley wright Phillips and the rest of the failures. once quoted as saying " I WILL BECOME THE GREATEST EVER DANISH PLAYER TO PLAY THE GAME". What a proper Balotelli (kn*b) he is lol
