Paul Trollope's blunt response to Cardiff City fan who collared him in the car park waving a list of striker targets

A die-hard Cardiff City fan presented manager Paul Trollope with a list of strikers he should have targeted during the transfer window - only to be asked if he had a spare £10 million!

The footage, captured by Callum Ellis of Adar Gleision , shows well known Bluebirds fan Dai Hunt approach Trollope in the days prior to the transfer window closing last week.

As Trollope arrives at the stadium, the fan waves a piece of paper containing a hand-written list of potential striker targets at the manager, saying: "Look at all these strikers. What about Peter Crouch? He would do well here."

Trollope replies with a blunt: "Yeh, have you got a spare 10 million quid mate?!"

Mr Hunt responds by saying: "No, but Tan is a billionaire."

As it turned out, of course, nobody had £10m to spare and the Bluebirds ended up signing Ricky Lambert from West Brom for an undisclosed fee.

If he can score the goals Cardiff desperately need, Mr Hunt and every other Cardiff fan will be more than happy with that.

Well handled by Trollope.

I don't know Dai, he sounds passionate enough but I would think Trollope has more of an idea about the ins and outs of the transfer market than any of us fans (I hope so anyway). Lets see what happens with Ricky before we get on his back. You never know, he may be 'FAN' tastic! Sorry!
