If we keep losing to fairly average teams like QPR and Reading, then yes we will. We haven't played the promoted sides yet, who we always struggle against.

I think that we'll have enough to stay up but I think we'll finish no better than mid table.
However there are plenty on here who think that now we've signed Rickie "Ronaldo" Lambert we are genuine promotion contenders!
If we finish anywhere outside the bottom three the club will probably be satisfied but I would have said the same thing last season and yet Slade got the bullet for finishing 8th so it may be that Trollope has to get into the play-offs this season to save his job.
Who's next to have a go in the hot seat if Trollope gets the old heave-ho at the end of the season I wonder? Lennie? Rowberry? Scott Young?

The table might not look too good for us after the Norwich game, but I doubt if we will be involved in the relegation battle this season. I think we should be able to finish the season somewhere around mid table as long as we don't lose key players to injuries and suspensions.

No chance, if we do badly we will finish 12th-16th, if Lambert starts firing the goals we need we could scrape the play-offs.

I agree with you we've been missing a goal scorer and this will make Pilks and immers go into there favourite position

Yes.

Of course, there is always a chance.
Many teams will have gone before us with fans and management alike that would have thought they were to good to go down but did.
We are currently averaging a point a game so if we carry on like that the answer is yes, absolutely.
We have an interesting 3 games coming up after Norwich, two of which are against teams in Preston and Rotherham who most would think are weaker than us. I think we will have a better idea where we stand come the end of september

12th to 16th for me. I thought we would be in a relegation battle before the signing of Lambert but don't think he is enough to help push for the play offs

We are going to be bottom half for sure and we have to be careful we don't get a run of defeats at the wrong time to sink morale and put us in an impossible position to stop the rot.

I tend to feel we always do worst against the strugglers who we should beat
May be perception though
