West Ham are set to move for Millwall's Mahlon Romeo in a deal worth £2million, according to the Sun.
The 20-year-old right-back has cemented his place in the Lions' first-team, but Slaven Bilic is reportedly keen to seal a deal for the youngster.

Annis how can they sign him the window is closed and he is not a free agent?

When they say set to sign they should've said in the next window. They cannot sign anyone who has a contact with another club until January 1st.

You can sign anybody at any time on a pre contract agreement you just cant register it until a window opens . Transfer windows are only for registrations not payments

I thought this 'pre-contract agreement' only came into force towards the end of an existing contract?
I may be wrong though
