Harry Kane is in talks with Tottenham over a new contract which would make him the highest earning player at the club, according to the Sunday Mirror.

The England striker signed a new deal in February but the club are looking to reportedly double his £50,000 wages after another impressive season.

why did he sign that contract in january? that was below his value.

daniel levy is savvy. whenever they have a player who shows potential they always reward him early and tie him down to a longer deal. if necessary they give new deals every 6 months. it costs money in the short term but ensures that if the player leaves they are protected and can hold out for full market value.
