Ground drinkers

£4.20 for a pint of watered down piss In a plastic cup is almost insulting, but I have fallen foul of buying one to savour the pre-match build up in the ground. Is it better to have the last pint in canton 10 mins before kick off or endure a less appealing pint in the ground before ?

I'm always amazed at the amount of people queuing and drinking that slop before the match and at £4.20 then they must have more money than sense.
I enjoy a couple of beers before the game in Canton but why wait 10 minutes before kick off?

£4.20 for a pint of that is literally taking the piss. Haven't had a beer in the Stadium for a long while now and this is the reason. Surely to God we should be able to provide our fans with drinkable beer for a reasonable price? Teza

I agree it should be easy enough to do but it's just quick turnover for high cost and whilst there is a market of people who'll drink anything then I guess they'll continue.
What's Teza mean?

It's my nickname and what everyone who knows me calls me.

Haven't a pint in the ground since the opening of the new stadium and it was bad then.

In the canton for the QPR game they were selling bottles £2.10. Poured into a plastic cup but at least it's not watered down piss.

As a regular partaker at half time I was amazed to find out it was cheaper to have a pint at the New Theatre Cardiff last Tuesday !!!!!

As long as they can find enough suckers to pay £4.20 for a pint of piss, they will keep charging £4.20 for a pint of piss. It's supply and demand, and if fans refused to pay for the crap they serve up, they would have to do something about it.

Well Patrick Stewart would put a bit of backbone into the midfield, Owen Teale could give some height at the back and Sir Ian Mc Kellan would be a great announcer
