Saints fans on Lambert / and whitts?

Thu Sep 01, 2016 1:45 pm

I work with two saints ST holders that say they were suprised he signed for us as they thought he would go to Newcastle or villa etc.

They said he's never relied on pace, but he relies on intelligence and technical ability. If he gets a touch near the goal - he will score. And apparently does alot of good work off the ball including assists. They also said he's strong as hell and very hard to dispossess.

Apparently he never missed one pen for saints and can ping a decent free kick.

Whitts' free kicks have been well off par for probably about 3 years now.

So should Lambert take over the dead ball situations?

Maybe Whitts for ones put in the mixer and Lambert on ones close to goal?

Nice to have options. Both over the ball. Keep the GK guessing. Who's gonna whack it?! Gotta make it more dangerous.
