Although he's a proven goal scorer the signing of Rickie Lambert still leaves us without any pace in midfield or up front!

Yes I do agree, all I can say is that Lambert is a big upgrade on striking prowess, but the fact remains, we have no pace in the team

The pace of Kadeem Harris has been a breath of fresh air in the last few games. Hopefully Nooney can rediscover a bit as well and be less of a headless chicken now there will be a striker to actually aim for!

just making a point not trying to be negative, we have to play with what we have. Hopefully Kadeem Harris can nail down a wingback position he's been the highlight of the season for me so far

Pace not essential, remember mason , Miller and Helguson all scored a few goals got us to the carling cup final and contributed to promotion to the premier league.
It's how you use what you've got.

Fair point, but promotion season we also had Bellamy, Fraser Cambell and Noone.
The only pace we have now is at wingback
