Rickie looks in good shape!

Not a shred of fat on him, he looks ready to play!! :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

Let's remember he has been working under one of the toughest taskmasters in the business, a certain Tony Pulis. I think physically he is in the right condition. Let's be honest, he was never the quickest so that's not a problem when his other attributes do not diminish so quickly with age.

A great shot, arial presence. Let's hope we can get some decent balls into the box and get him the ball closer to goal. He can have a good season. Believe it :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :bluebird: :bluebird:

He will do well and I think we won't get relegated now. Top 10 we should aim for

We got ourselves a striker that's got a good record, now it's down to the other players to play the football to provide chances :ayatollah:

We are lacking pace, I agree with posters on that, but, if we improve the quality of crosses and passes to the frontline, we have a player that loves scoring goals when firing :ayatollah:

Thomas the saints fans I work with said he's always been in shape and fit. Also they said he was practically ever present and injury free for them.

That's good to hear Nubbsy, I heard when he started his career in the lower leagues he was not as professional as he is now. I am excited by the signing.

It's back to the old days when we signed players perhaps not at they're peak, but still excited to find out if he sparks to life here :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
