I'm pretty sure a few weeks ago that Trollope wanted to sign a winger with pace. Well what's happened?? Why haven't we brought one in?? After watching us this season, we need a lot more than just one new striker, to turn us into promotion contenders this season. I personally think we need at the very least 4 new players, to make sure we finish in the Top half of the table, let alone in the Top 6. There are numerous other Championship clubs that have used the loan system brilliantly this summer. Even some of the smaller Championship clubs have been a lot more positive in the transfer market than us. Plus, they have much smaller wage budgets to use on new players than we do. Lafferty was good 6-8 years ago when he first came through at Burnley, but now, this signing will just be pointless. Why are we signing another target man striker, who is good in the air, strong, but can't score goals? Especially, when we have already have two strikers at the club, who are exactly the same type of striker. In Zohore and Gounongbe. It really is embarrassing. If we were signing a smaller striker with pace that can feed off Gounongbe, that plays on the shoulder of defenders and scores goals. That would be great, because we would be bringing in a different style of striker to the club, that we haven't currently got.
That's it, I'm getting wound up about it and I'm stopping before I lose it.

I think the emergence of Kadeem Harris has meant that the need for a pacey winger has diminished - and of course saved the club the expense of buying or loaning one.
We'll be lucky to see even one signing today let alone four - the playing side of the club is almost completely irrelevant to the way the club is being run at the moment.
