Hammam , Ridsdale , Tan

Have all run the club into debts and have all had to sell players because of it..

Ridsdale with Mathews , Ledley etc due to his borrowing and deals.

Sam Hammam racked up what was at the time a shocking amount of debt by paying ridiculous fee's , wages and goal bonuses He told us fans that none of our players were for sale then went back on his word by selling Earnie and Kav because bills had to be paid..

Now we have Tan selling players due to paying silly fee's and wages for mostly overated players , debt and running costs.
Since i started watching City all there has been is debt and drama of the tax man chasing us and court appearances even in the good times.

If the club are genuinely selling players to make us more or less close to being run self sufficient then i'm happy about selling players who are on high wages regardless of who they are.

Im hoping the club has learned and that we are going back and starting again but this time doing it in a more managable way which will be worth the wait so we have a debt free club but it will take patience from everyone more importantly the fans.
Im being positive :D :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

good post but tan is the only one who has paid off debts and written off 10s of millions of pounds like you said hopefully tan and the club have learnt by there mistakes and we are a lot more prudent in the future

I just hope that we can have a debt free club in the near future. Ive never really had much expectations for city going into any season which helps me to be happy with us being mid championship side for a few seasons if we are going to build slowly and spend wisely.. I dont think anyone knows what Tan will do but im trying to remain positive :ayatollah:

I dont think we will go down this season. It also crossed my mind that being in the same league as a few big boys who are spending the cash might have made us and one or two other clubs hold back until next season?

My view is Sam started the ball rolling and we all followed like sheep, Ridsdale did good for the club imo and helped get the stadium and fixed the season ticket price. Tan has done more for the club than anyone has done but he has made big mistakes but I feel he is following his plan and will come good

You can keep harping on about Sam and the Riddier

But Jinks Vincent Tan has been in total charge for 7 years by now we should be debt free and he is totally responsible

I'll settle for being debt free if it takes another 7 years. And yes Tan is responsible.
