CCFC failing to inspire the return of Supporters

Mon Aug 29, 2016 4:26 pm

As a long term Cardiff City Fan who has not renewed my season tickets for 2 years due to my bewilderment at the manner the club operates and the poor standard of football and the failure to show ambition, its difficult to contemplate returning as the club continues to demonstrate the above issues plus more..

whilst I would love to return and enjoy both home and away games supporting the city its obvious the club still have much to do to attract thousands of city fans back. Whilst our present manager is doing his best with the resources available , it strikes me the cub could do better with signing up a Manager with proven ability and success which would be seen as a positive move and show the club has ambition . whilst I understand the club has to take control of its finanaces, Im not convinced this should of not meant selling David Marshall who is by far our best player and worth alot more then the fee sold for , In My opinion crazy move selling so cheaply , but I guess we have done this time after time which is not in the interest of the finances at the club, Mr Tan cleared has wealth but sadly he is not enthusiastic enough about our club and this is the reason we are only going one direction and thats not up ....

The standard of foot ball at times is very poor and the usual complaints are lack of quality and its evident for the past few years we desperately require some Quality and proven abilty goals scorers which we clearly lack, hence we are unable to compete with the other big clubs and fail to gain promotion, and equaly important give the fans some thing to cheer for , and also have some HOPE .

Shame but only being honest,,, Here hoping the club evaluate the future ambitions of the club as We deserve better, and will hopefully boost the sales of season ticket holders .

Good post. Unfortunately many fans are in denial and will not have a bad word said however I can see how thousands have and will continue to desert the club. Times have moved on and when you spend good money you want to be entertained. All that's being dished up is sub standard football with no ambition to improve. Unfortunately the club is selling all its assets and replacing them with loans or freebies. How long have we been playing without a recognised striker? Can only see crowds dwindle as team performances get worse.
