He's certainly the best ive seen being only in my early twenties so I was wondering of other great city goalkeepers who would challenge Marshy as our best ever goalkeeper.
The mans been a superb number one and a great symbol for our club and for fellow players to follow. He will be greatly missed.

We've had some really good keepers over the years, ward, dibble,Alexander, schmichael and of course Marshall, but let's not forget we've had some stinkers too bywater ,constantopelus
What I admired most about Marshall is his loyalty, seems to be pushed out

Marshall for me because he done it at the highest level out of all the ones ive seen. Alexander was good and treated shitty at the end of his stay. Hansbury was worthy for his celebration at the welsh cup final and george wood for the best chant.

I've seen every keeper since Bill Irwin and I know some people can go back further but for me Marshy has the vote.

Been watching since the early 60's. Marshall the best by a long way.

The best keeper I've seen in over 40 years.
One of the few keepers who gets you off your seat on a regular basis. Certainly as a shot stopper he is right up there in international terms. Makes saves he simply shouldn't.
I still have a, maybe unrealistic, hope he will stay but if he goes then we won't see anyone of his quality again but he deserves to be in the Prem.

I remember John Hallworth from my very early days of going. Didn't he have dodgy knees? Don't remember well enough for how good he was.
Marshall for me, his shot stopping and reactions are top class and if he commanded his box better would be at 1 of the top teams in the premier league.
David Marshall is a legend who has shown great loyalty to the club, and looks like he's being forced out.
Well done Cardiff City

Marshall is the best keeper so far when I have been supporting City.

Marshall by an absolutely huge margin for me.
And that's over the last nearly 40 years

I played in goal behind Dilwyn as a centre half in Cardiff Combination league many many years ago.

Was it Mark grew that pulled a muscle when we played and beat Man city in the cup ?
