Chris Coleman has insisted he has no regrets about not becoming Hull City manager, after intense speculation he would take over at the KC Stadium this summer.

The Tigers reportedly made the Wales boss their preferred target after the departure of Steve Bruce, with Coleman having impressed the football world through his team's exploits at Euro 2016.
But nothing came of the interest and assistant Mike Phelan, who has taken temporary charge of Hull, has presided over two wins in their first two matches against Leicester and Swansea.
Coleman, named his Wales squad for the World Cup qualifier against Moldova on September 5 today and said of the Hull affair: "I think everybody is under the impression that everyone wants to work in the Premier League.

"I want to work at the top level like everyone else, but it doesn’t mean that’s the Premier League.
"It’s a great league but what I’ve got here is very special and close to my heart. I’m fully focused on what I need to do for my country.
"I’m happy, looking forward to this next challenge.
"With the Premier League, you look at it sideways, of course you do, but managing your national team comes around once if you’re lucky. I don’t think I’ll have any regrets."
