Positive news as Wales right-back could have been out longer
Adam Matthews is poised for up to a month on the sidelines with his hamstring injury.
Scan results show the on-loan Sunderland right-back will miss three to four weeks with the hamstring problem he picked up in the 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United on Saturday.
It’s positive news for the defender, with head coach Lee Johnson revealing a more serious hamstring tear could have sidelined the Wales defender for up to ten weeks.
