The Three Degrees,,,how does;

"Contract terminated by mutual consent" work? Payment of All, or part of their remaining contracts.

How difficult would it be for the three to pursue their footballing careers with a complete season out of the competitive game???

LeFondre - may be a tear up the contract chance as we wanted a fee for him, it allows him to find a club after the transfer closes as free agents are still allowed to sign.

Macheda - He will want a payoff to rip it up as his chance of big pay cheques are dissipating as the games go by and clubs are realising the man u kid with potential never kicked on and is league 1 at best

Digakcoi - No further career options in the major football nations so will probably want the contract fully paid up, as he could quite easily train with the kids until June on big bucks and go back to SA then. I cant see why we can't sack him if he is over weight, as he is unfit to fore fill his contractual obligations to the required standard, obviously through correct UK employment law.

I think part of the problem is that even if we were just to pay up their contracts or even come to some arrangement with them then it all gets taken into account as far as the FFP rules are concerned.

The pay-offs would be taken into account as part of our season's outgoings and therefore paying them off would effectively be the same as them staying and being paid each week so that if we did pay them off we still wouldn't be able to bring anyone else in as their pay-offs would still count as an outgoing for the season.

I could be talking utter bollocks however - and it wouldn't be the first time!

I think both you & Ilan bluebirds make some valid points. I'm of the opinion that unless other clubs actually sign (free or loan) them in this transfer window, then we are well & truly stuck with them for another season, & there end any new incoming players, for a long while, at least. We shall see!

Very interesting comments on Digakcoi. Surely if he is not fulfilling a mandatory requirement to do his job, contract becomes null and void! I agree with that principle,but, obviously fatties in football will be on a knifes edge :lol: :ayatollah:
