Next time you feel hard done by because we conceed late remember that the most vunerable time for any team is the last few minutes of a game. This is where a quarter of all goals are scored!
I often see people damming their luck when we concede late on but its statiscally a very likely scenario as teams tire, take chances, make mistakes and get more desperate.
We were very fortunate not to let another one in last night with Fulham launching the kitchen sink at us. You could blame the team to some extent but there are several variables to the problem of conceding late. Fitness and composure would play a big part though.

How crucial is that first goal? If you look at the stats below you can see how big an edge that first goal delivers! Statistically that first goal can easily make the difference on the day. Its a difference of a 2.27 point average if you score first and a 0.65 point average if they score first!
