Kadeem Harris makes a magnificent impact today v Fulham :bluebird: :bluebird:

He was impressive against Blackburn, showing a real thrust going forward and showing a great, no nonsense temperament in attack. He was fortunate here in the sense that his introduction coincided with Joe Ralls' breathtaking equaliser, but the way he then took hold of the game was superb.

Time and time again he drove forward. Fulham's left-flank had been a real strong point for them in the first half but suddenly it was a gaping weakness as Harris drew foul after foul.

It was his good build-up play that allowed Pilkington the space to curl in the second goal. Jazz Richards did little wrong but it's difficult to argue that the added pace from Harris gave the Bluebirds another dimension.

Great to hear we have a player with potential coming through from the development squad. :ayatollah:

He changed the game. Won two free kicks (one which whitts almost scored from) and got a decent shot off.

When he gets the ball he just wants to attack and move forward.

Harris and John and are the only two players in our squad capable of changing the pace in an instant. Something we lack big time.

Yes indeed.

He brought an injection of pace and penetration that we had been missing all game up to that point - direct running at pace is what frightens teams, not passing the ball aimlessly sideways and backwards between the defence and the midfield.

Where does his emergence leave Craig Noone?

Needs to work on his tackling though!

Two substitute appearances and two bookings for fouls.

Mind you, there was a bloke behind me today who was telling his mate that Harris would be banned for the next game because he'd picked up two yellows! :o :o

noone has just faded in to oblivion ,Harris has got what we are lacking and that raw pace

Makes you wonder how 'safe' Russell Slade was actually playing it in his team selections

My MOM today. Immediate impact that positively affected the game. Running at defenders down his right flank who were strong in H1 and taking 3 players out of position at times, he was that much of a handful he weakened their strong left defensive unit who resorted to tripping and our free-kicks. And he tracked back effectively too. I've followed him for several seasons in the DVP and an obvious talent whose tendency to do too much and run into traffic was for me the reason he was not moving into the first team. A super-sub who I hope to see starting as he gives a directness that we need to help address our goal-drought.

I know i'll get the piss taken out of me for saying this but harris reminds me of a young bellamy! Not just for his attacking style but in his body build too! He obviously enjoys attacking and his pace changed the game in our favour yesterday! He's looked really dangerous for the development team for ages now and i believe he thoroughly deserves his chance and a run in starting 11!

Really needs to work on his tackling but this system suits him down to a tee!
