' TWO WONDER GOALS BY CARDIFF CITY TODAY '

Cardiff City for the second game running started with no strikers and for the majority of the match never had a shot on target, but thanks to two wonder goals by Pilkington and Ralls put City ahead,but City were not able to hold on to the lead and so two points were dropped.

To be fair 2-2 was a fair result to both sides.

After Cardiff City's first victory of the season against Blackburn, City travelled to Fulham full of confidence and were looking for back to back victories.


Fulham came at Cardiff and as usual the home side put the pressure on. City then calmed it down and got themselves in to the game, which started to become even stevens.
No clear cut chances with in the first 30 minutes.

Cardiff fans have been in excellent voice from the start

Lex Immers and Declan John were so far City's best players

In the 33rd minute Gunnarsson was injured and needed treatment.

By the 38th minute Cardiff were still yet to have a shot on target

In the 44th minute Fulham substiute 16 year old Sessegnon came on and scored for Fulham,
Aluko with some superb work down the right for Fulham, he passed to Sessegnon unmarked in the box and bang 1-0 Fulham

City had zero shots on target and Fulham had one, the one they scored.

The game started virtually like the first-half.

59th min Kadeem Harris came on for Jazz Richards and was soon making the runs.

Kadeem Harris made the run,what a shot by Joe Ralls in the 60th minute, after long throw in by Gunnarsson 1-1

Then in the 66th Pilkington what a goal

By the 70th min City were all over Fulham with Whittingham hitting the bar.


79th minute Joe Ralls shot just past the post.

82nd minute Pilkington replaced by striker Gounongbe.

86th min with Marshall just stood there, a shot from Fulham made it 2-2

Hmm? I will always be a Marshall fan, he has been brilliant for us over all.

Far more positives than negatives for sure. A good away day.

It was a result that I thought was beyond us but once again we lost 2 points at the very end of the game,why does that happen to us so often?saying that I'm well pleased with the draw away from home

I do agree we lost two points near the end, but before the game I would of accepted a point
