Rotherham United new boy Tom Adeyemi has told MillersPlayer that his move to the Millers came about quickly.

'I first heard about it yesterday,' the twenty-four year old midfielder said, 'and it's happened really quickly.'

Signing a season long loan from Cardiff City Tom said, 'I'm really excited to come here and play for a Championship club which is what I was waiting for.

'Alan Stubbs told me how he wants to play and sees me fitting into that and it sounds perfect to me.

'With my size I can bring a physical presence to the midfield. I like to break up play but I also like to bomb forward and get into the box and hopefully get a few goals as well.

'I know Rotherham are a club with a passionate fan base and the facilities have improved over the last few years with this new stadium and I'm really looking forward to playing.'

Speaking about Saturday's game against Brentford, who he had a loan spell with in 2012, Tom said he was totally focused on Rotherham, saying, 'I'd like to be involved on Saturday. I enjoyed my time at Brentford but hopefully Rotherham will get three points at the weekend.'
