They are expecting a damn good thrashing after our loss to QPR and with our fans expecting a reaction from the squad. There's about 200 travelling down with one saying that anyone who does deserves a knighthood. It makes for sad reading as all they now want is Venkys to sell the club and leave so that they can rebuild. They have various threads started on ways to protest and use social for leverage including one called 'Boycott'. Its the most difficult thing for a lot of fans to do, especially if your a die-hard but the one thing I learned from our own experience is that staying away is ultimately the only way. In the season we got to the League Cup final we played Blackburn at home in one of the later rounds.
We were the underdogs as they were in the Premier League then and although they were struggling at the time, when we beat them 2-0 it felt like we had taken a big "scalp".
Now look where they are and it says something that tomorrow we really should be looking at a comfortable win against a team and a club in absolute disarray.
Tomorrow's game is between two teams with foreign owners who bought football teams for all the wrong reasons.
